2023 Wenonah Farmers Market Application
Every Thursday from 4 - 7 pm
May 4th - September 28th
WHO WE ARE
The Wenonah Farmers Market is a community-supported project organized by the Woman's Club of Wenonah NJ. As a 501c3 non-profit, our mission is to bring fresh fruits, vegetables, and other locally sourced food items and crafts to residents of Wenonah and surrounding areas.
In doing so, the market promotes healthy cooking and eating, supports local farms and small businesses, and brings community members of all ages together for a wholesome, convenient outdoor shopping experience.
We also strive to follow a "Zero Waste" philosophy to remove, reduce, and recycle plastics. We eliminate plastic bags and packaging by encouraging our shoppers to bring their own reusable bags and our vendors to use compostable, biodegradable, and/or reusable packaging.

GUIDELINES, DETAILS & EXPECTATIONS
The market rules are standard and must be adhered to. Non-compliance may result in loss of permission to sell.
Approved vendors need to supply proof of General and Product Liability Insurance naming Woman's Club of Wenonah and The Borough of Wenonah as insured. If you do not have general liability insurance, you may sign a liability waiver instead. Please contact us for details.
Prepared food vendors must provide a letter of approval from the Gloucester County Health.
Product exclusivity is not guaranteed
Safety Features must be followed
All vendors are expected to attend all market dates they agree to. In the event that you are unable to attend the market, please notify The Woman's Club of Wenonah at least 24 hours in advance. There will be no reimbursement.
Setup begins at 3 pm, and the market opens at 4 pm. There is plenty of free parking around the park for loading, unloading, and parking your vehicle. However, we ask that you leave the spaces along Mantua Avenue available for market customers after unloading.
LEAVE NO TRACE
The market is a leave no trace event. Vendors must bring their own setup (including tent, tables, business signage and anything else you need to sell your product), remove trash, and leave booth areas in the same condition as when they arrived.
What happens if it rains or snows?
The market is open rain or shine. If, for some reason, there is a severe weather event that requires the closure of the market, the Woman's Club will notify you via the email/phone on file.
What happens if I can't make it?
Please notify the Woman's Club at WomansClubofWenonah@gmail.com as soon as possible. Please note that there will be no reimbursement.
Where are bathrooms for public use?
The Wenonah Free Public Library at 101 E Mantua Ave (next to the park) has a bathroom available, but please leave a small tip or a kind word with the librarian after using the facility.
*Our other neighboring businesses would like to remind visitors that their bathrooms are for their paying customers only. (They are our neighbors, too, so please don't make us look bad to them!)
